Hindu Squats

Hindu squats are fast-paced, no-weight squats you can do at home. What you do is squat up and down as fast as you can while keeping a pretty straight back. The key to this is to touch or swipe your finger tips onto the ground with each repetition so that you know you went down far enough.

The various six pack abs exercises that you should be doing crunches, oblique crunches and leg raises. These can all be done easily at home and won't take you long to do. They work out the upper, lower abs and the oblique's, which is the side of the body commonly referred to as the love handles!

This is great if you don't want those bodybuilder type abs. You know, that 6-pack look. You need to maintain the femininity of your abs by flattening and toning them, not bringing out the bulky muscles. To do this exercise, you simply suck in your belly button and hold it for a set amount of time. Go for 20 seconds. Keep repeating this for a minimum of 5 minutes a day.

Chin ups - Chin ups mainly work the back and the bicep muscles, but if someone were to put a hand on your stomach while you were doing chin ups, they would feel pure steel. This is because the abs muscles are completely stretched and straining like crazy. Even women can do this exercise. Even if you do a small number of chin ups, the effect can be remarkable.

Dumbbell Swing - Stand with your feet slightly wider than hip-width holding a dumbbell with both hands letting it hang down in front of you. Slowly lower yourself into a half squat position while letting the dumbbell swing between your legs, then explosively flex your glutes, extend your knees and swing the dumbbell up until your arms are straight out in front of your face.

The plank - lie on your back, knees bent up, feet flat, arms on the floor, level with your shoulders. Tighten your abs and raise your body, to form a straight line from your head to your knees. Hold while you count 3 and lower slowly. Do 5 repeats.
